Does anyone know of a software program out there that will program Yaesu radios with an Apple (Mac OS) computer? The initial programming software was Windows based from RT systems and worked just fine. I have tried three of the 'virtual' programs with no success. The radios in question are a Yaesu FT 897D, FT 50R, and a FT 8900 on order. Mar 30, 2019 Yaesu FT-891 This weeks review is on the FT-891 HF and 50MHz Transceiver. That is the latest software from yaesu from 2017!!, it does still have several issues that I have noticed, I have been waiting for a newer software update but its almost 2020 and they still haven't fixed the issues so it looks like they gave up on the updates for the 891. All the issues I found are little and don't effect my using the radio, it is a great radio.
